It is now totally clear to me that just like Twitter, Instagram, FB, LinkedIn, etc. Substack is riddled with controlled opposition. What a shock!!!! Did you think that the DoD Psyops branch is spending billions on taking out every social media site in the world, every government, every media outlet, every academic institution, every government agency, every food and energy source, etc. but they are leaving Substack as a pristine and open source for freedom of information? If so, I’ll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge and the GW bridge for a special one-time only 2-in1 price!
What this means, among other things, is that substack authors and commentators are riddled with controlled opposition. I will not name names because I don’t have any smoking guns (unlike Musk at Twitter) and throughout my career I’ve known that ad hominem attacks are for the proles not smart people like us (see Orwell’s book: 1984; which is rapidly metamorphosing into a non-fiction documentary).
But I’m very suspicious of bloggers and substackers who derive much of their income or visibility from these social media sites. They are easily manipulated and manipulable by the Psyops Controllers, whether consciously or unconsciously. It is much too easy to fine-tune your posted comments based on feedback and subscribe/unsubscribe decisions of your readers. All things equal, I’d love to have millions of paid subscribers, but when they are part of the psyops, having to depend on them is a Faustian bargain!

Hi,
I think you're right, it's best to cancel most if not all Substack subscriptions. And not just to avoid supporting the authors who are "controlled opposition", but also because Substack's business model is not transparent. From what I understand, some 'Stack authors are subsidized by the company, while most are on their own. So it's a sort of pyramid scheme.
